Position: Human Resources Manager Reports to: General Manager, Singapore WHAT YOU DO
We are looking for an enthusiastic Human Resources (HR) Manager to implement a variety of human resource programs and to ensure smooth HR operations. Due to the diversity of responsibilities of the role, the ideal candidate will be a competent and resourceful individual with a passion for HR.
The goal is to ensure the HR department's operations will be running smoothly and effectively to deliver maximum value to the organization as a whole. This role will assist in all aspects of human resources functions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
HR Operations: - To assist in recruitment plan and activities for all level such as screening candidates, conducting interview, preparing salary proposal, negotiate and communicate offer acceptance, reference checks.
- Be the primary resource for all facets of employee relations issues and engagement
Provide support to employees in various HR related topics such as leave, compensation etc. and resolve issues and problems - Administer compensation and the employee benefits plan
- To advise and support on employees relations matters to ensure effective management on disciplinary matters, grievances and performance issues. To execute disciplinary action in accordance to the Company’s Work Ethics and Self-Disciplinary Procedure.
- To co-ordinate with Training Manager/Area Manager on new employee onboarding and training
- To prepare and maintain HR related reports including, but not limited headcount, absenteeism, employee turnover and movement, etc.
- Based on No. 6 above, to analyse and interpret the data, and to advise management accordingly regarding trends
- Manage outsourced service partners (e.g. payroll vendor, recruiters, etc)
- Manage systems implementation to deliver a HRIS system that is aligned with each 4Fingers region
(this includes payroll, leave, time & attendance) - Ensure compliance with all Group HR policies & procedures
- Responsible for collaborating on grant applications with various agencies
HR Programs & Initiatives (Development): - To implement and manage a Performance and Development program
- To align incentive, rewards and recognition program with business requirements
- To develop initiatives to improve employee engagement, and to measure it annually
- Develop comprehensive employee handbooks and fine-tune HR polices
REQUIREMENTS OF THE ROLE
- Candidates must possess Bachelor’s Degree, Professional Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management/Business Study, Human Resource Management or equivalent
- Regional/international experience with a start-up mindset will be an advantage
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as HR Manager, preferably in a similar industry
- Confident, collaborative and committed to deadlines with a sense of urgency
- Strong communicator
- Great people skills
- Meticulous, thorough and able to multi-task and work independently
- Analytical ability
- In-depth knowledge of labour laws in Singapore
- Knowledge of labour laws in Australia and United States will be an added advantage
- Good analytical and problem solving skills
